Meatballs: A Simple and Beloved Main Course

Meatballs are a simple main dish to prepare, loved by everyone, both young and old. ‍‍‍ With our Zia Rosa tomato puree, rich in flavor and free from preservatives, you can make a truly delicious tomato sauce to accompany your meatballs.

Ingredients:
Ground meat
Bread crumbs
Eggs
Grana Padano cheese
Parsley
Salt
Pepper
Zia Rosa tomato puree

 

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground meat, bread crumbs, eggs, Grana Padano, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  2. Shape the mixture into round meatballs and bake them in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes.
  3. In a pan, heat a bit of oil and add the Zia Rosa tomato puree.
  4. Cook the tomato sauce for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the meatballs to the tomato sauce and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve the meatballs hot, topped with plenty of melted mozzarella.

Tips:

  • You can add other ingredients to the meatballs, such as provola cheese, ricotta, or grated vegetables.
  • If you prefer, you can cook the meatballs in a pan with a bit of oil instead of baking them.
  • For a more intense flavor, you can add a pinch of fresh basil to the tomato sauce.
